Hey everyone,
Before I begin this article, I want to take a moment to express deep appreciation for my paying clients (thank you) and for those who have supported me and my websites in various ways, even if not monetarily. Your contribution means a great deal to me, and please do not be offended by what I’m about to write — it does not apply to you.
Now, for those who only stop by for “free” content and have not contributed in any way … please read on …
Recently I noticed a feeling that I don’t usually have: “burn out.”
It’s not really all that surprising. In addition to my work as a coach, blogger, and speaker, I have other sources of income that need tending. Frankly, those other sources of income are far more lucrative than being a blogger, so as much as I love writing these articles for you, my enthusiasm has waned. I still feel fully enthusiastic about working with my paying clients and doing my speaking gigs to spread the word about HBR. It’s the giving away free content that is really wearing on me. My time is so limited right now that when I’m not doing coaching sessions or tending to my other sources of income, I like to have at least a little bit of “me” time for skiing, mountain biking, interior design, hot tubbing, and my other favorite activities.
My motivation gets particularly low when I receive a bunch of shitty comments from people projecting their crap on others, and when I receive a deluge of emails asking for free advice.
I am a big proponent of always taking care of oneself first, so that we don’t get depleted and have more to give to other people. “Put on your own oxygen mask before helping others.”
Anyway, all this to say …
If you want the free articles to continue, the balance of giving and receiving around here is going to need to shift dramatically. Otherwise, I will focus ALL my attention on my paying clients, my other sources of income, and my personal life.
Here are the new guidelines:
1. If you would like my free articles, most of them will now be published only to my “list.” Anyone is welcome to join my newsletter list for free in the right-hand sidebar. For example, when I write about my upcoming White Tiger Tantra experience with Steve P., those articles will only go to my list.
2. If you have a basic question about Holistic Belief Reprogramming (HBR), please do NOT send me an email asking about something I’ve already answered. Instead, please educate yourself first by signing up for my 7-day video course here.
3. The video course cost thousands of dollars out of my personal funds to produce, so I will be charging money for it very soon. If you want it for free, sign up and listen to the videos now or forever hold your piece.
4. When I advertise ticket sales or products, please purchase from me. By purchasing through the links that I post here, you will be helping to defray the significant infrastructure costs of running this website. Feel free to email me after you purchase off my site to let me know that you did. I may even be willing to answer a question for free as a token of my appreciation.
5. When you would like personalized advice from me, please sign up for a session. I’m simply going to start ignoring emails, whether to my private accounts or on Facebook, asking for advice, unless they are accompanied by a payment. If you would like personalized advice, whether by Skype or by email, please sign up for a session or an email coaching package.
6. If you would like a consultation about how HBR can help you in your life, please sign up for a session here.
7. If you are hitting on me, please understand that you have exactly zero chance of getting laid UNLESS (1) you have rock solid game (at the level of being a top coach), (2) you are willing to marry me before having sex with me, and (3) you are ready, willing, and available to be my full-time business partner, a major financial contributor to our partnership, and the father of my children.
If you do not meet the above criteria, and you would like to practice your “PUA skills” with me, please sign up for a session or an in-person intensive here. Yes, I will help you become a master Casanova, but you will need to pay my coaching fees to obtain that result.
8. Finally, if you are low on funds, but would still like to work with me, the thing to do is purchase my Attracting Abundance audio (it’s only $29.97) and tap along to it until funds show up (they will, or I’ll give your money back). After funds show up, you can sign up for one of my programs here. I will then help you HBR your way to even more abundance.
Or, in rare instances, I will accept a trade, but please do not suggest a trade unless you have a tangible and easy-to-implement plan that will give me equal benefit as I am giving you (for example, by publicizing my coaching page to your entire list of Facebook friends, or otherwise getting the word out about HBR; top-notch website development; etc.). In order to receive, you must first learn how to give. Those of you who don’t have funds have not yet learned how to do that, and I would not be helping you by giving my services for free. So … offer SOMETHING.
All right, those are the new guidelines.
With that said, I do intend to continue offering the occasional article here for free. (Again, most articles will be published only to my newsletter list, so be sure to sign up for that right now.)
You can entice me to publish free articles here a lot more often if you start contributing to me in meaningful ways. As I start having more paying clients, I will be able to liberate some of my focus from my other sources of income to this blog and to making sure that the word gets out so that HBR can help not just thousands, but ultimately millions, of people.
In other words, if we are going to succeed, I need your help.
The best thing you can do to help is sign up for one of my programs now.
Thank you for everything you’ve already contributed.
cheers,
Erika
